Individual Academic Tutoring for Undergraduate Students 1st Semester of Academic Year 2025

Instructions:

  1. To help undergraduate students resolve academic issues, we provide one-on-one to three-on-three individual tutoring sessions to enhance their learning motivation and confidence.
  2. Target audience: Undergraduate students (including international students) currently taking required courses with questions. Priority will be given to students on the Academic Affairs Office’s unsatisfactory academic and midterm tutoring lists, as well as first-time applicants.
  3. Tutoring dates: September 30, 2015 (Tuesday) to December 26, 2015 (Friday), excluding Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.
  4. Tutoring application method:

Please use the “Tutoring Reservation System” at https://oosa.tku.edu.tw/course/.

  1. Tutoring Methods:

(1) Courses confirmed for tutoring can be viewed in the “Teaching Assistant Course Statistics” section of the system. Courses not listed can be applied for separately. Each student is limited to one separate application. The Tutoring Center will accept a maximum of 10 separate applications for this semester.

(2) Tutoring can be performed individually or in groups.

(3) Applications are accepted weekly. Applications are accepted from two weeks prior to the start of tutoring to 8:00 a.m. on the Monday of the preceding week.

(4) Students must go to the Tutoring Reservation System and select “Apply This Week – Tutoring.” Select the course title, inquiry scope, desired tutoring content, and available tutoring time.

(5) After applying, the Tutoring Center will review and match students. Students will be notified of the application results by email, which can also be viewed in the system.

  1. Tutoring Assistants: Current graduate students or senior undergraduate students will serve as tutors.
  2. Tutoring Location: Tutoring will be arranged by the Counseling Center in Rooms B413 and B820 of the Business building, or other on-campus classrooms.
