The Ministry of Education has announced the opening of applications for the “Penglai Scholarships” for the Master’s degree program at the World Trade Institute (WTI) in Switzerland, which is sponsored by our country. Please apply enthusiastically.

Explanation:

This is handled in accordance with the Ministry of Education’s letter No. 1140022728 dated February 27, 2025, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ letter No. 1143300249 dated February 26, 2025.
The World Trade Institute (WTI) is located at the University of Bern in Switzerland and is highly regarded in the field of international trade law. Since 2020, our permanent delegation to the WTO has sponsored the Global Impact Association (GIA) to establish the “Penglai Scholarships,” which will fund one student each from Taiwan and Least Developed Countries (LDCs) to study the one-year Master of International Law and Economics (MILE) or Master of Law (TRAIL+) program at WTI.
The application deadline for this scholarship is March 31, 2025, at noon (Taiwan time, 6:00 PM). Interested applicants should apply online through the following websites:
