The application guidelines for the second round of the joint selection process for exchange students to Japanese sister schools in the second semester of the 111th academic year are now available. Eligible students are encouraged to apply.

Description:

  1. Selection Guidelines – Please refer to the attached document for details.
  2. Application Deadline – Applications must be submitted by 12:00 PM on October 3, 2022 (Monday).
    (Applicants should follow their respective departments’ deadlines for document submission. All documents must be compiled and officially submitted to the Office of International Affairs by the department.)
  3. Application Process:
    • (1) Interested applicants must prepare the application form and required documents.
    • (2) Submit all documents to the applicant’s department for qualification review and recommendation.
    • (3) Applicants recommended by their department must then submit the documents to the Office of International Affairs.
  4. Required Documents:
    • (1) Application Form (please complete online and print: https://exchange.web.tku.edu.tw/)
    • (2) Official Chinese transcript of academic records (Graduate students must also provide their undergraduate transcript; transfer students must include transcripts from their previous institution.)
    • (3) Autobiography in both Chinese and a foreign language (written in the language required by the selected program).
    • (4) Research proposal in both Chinese and a foreign language (written in the language required by the selected program).
    • (5) Language proficiency certificate (must include a passing score and a photocopy of the certificate).
    • (6) Any other supporting documents that may assist in the qualification review (optional, but original copies must be presented for verification if submitted).
    • (7) Guarantee Statement – All documents must be in A4 format (originals are not restricted in format) and placed in a clear L-folder without binding.
  5. Personal Data Protection – In accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act, all personal data provided by applicants will be processed appropriately and stored lawfully for specified purposes and retention periods. For details, please refer to: http://www.tku.edu.tw/pdp.asp.
