Eligibility for Application: (1) Overseas Chinese students and Hong Kong/Macau students studying in domestic universities and above (must be in the second year or higher for undergraduate or graduate students; first-year students can apply with results from the Fall term of the National Taiwan Normal University Overseas Chinese Students Program; students who are repeating or extending their study period are not eligible). (2) Must not have received the Overseas Community Affairs Council’s “Outstanding and Excellent Overseas Chinese Student Scholarship” for the 113th year. (3) Must hold the Overseas Community Affairs Council i-Overseas Chinese Card.

The list of awards is available in Attachment 2, and the Student Handbook is in Attachment 3. Both are available on the Student Affairs Information System.

Application Method: (1) Applicants must complete the online application on the “Scholarship Application System” of the Overseas Community Affairs Council (website: https://scholarship.ocac.gov.tw/) by February 27, 2024. Then, print the application form and the relevant document attachment. The attachment must include a copy of the residence permit and student ID with registration stamp. (2) Submit the following documents to the Student Affairs Office (B402) by March 3, 2024. The office hours for submission are from 14:00 to 20:00 on February 17 and March 3, and from 08:00 to 12:00, 13:00 to 16:00 on weekdays. The office will be closed for submission on February 28.

- If the applicant is a child of overseas Chinese school teachers, a service certificate from the current overseas Chinese school should be provided. If from a low-income family, a low-income certificate is required.
