Description:

1. The British Council will hold the “2026 Study UK Pre-departure Briefing for UK-bound Students from East Asia” on Thursday, 18 June 2026, from 17:30 to 20:00 (Taiwan Time). International students who are going to study in the UK, their parents, and those planning to apply for UK study programmes within the next one to two years are encouraged to register and participate.
2. The event will feature guest speakers from UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI), the British Universities’ International Liaison Association (BUILA), the Graduate Futures Institute, and UK alumni, who will share useful information and practical advice related to studying in the UK, including visa applications, student well-being and safety, and preparation for student life abroad.
3. The first 90 minutes of the webinar will consist of a joint English-language session for participants from Brunei, Malaysia, the Philippines, Taiwan, and Vietnam. This will be followed by 60-minute breakout sessions by country/territory, and the Taiwan session will be conducted in Chinese.
