Announcement: Cathay Life Insurance x Tamkang University Collaboration Program for Vietnamese Student

A. Cathay Life Insurance has recently started a collaboration with Tamkang University where they are offering Vietnamese students the chance to get scholarships and corporate internship opportunities.

B. Program Details:

  1. Scholarship amount: NT$5,000 per semester
  2. Quotas: 10 scholarship slots and 6 internship slots available for Tamkang University.

C. Scholarship Eligibility:

  1. Eligible Applicants: Vietnamese undergraduate and Master’s students currently enrolled in the Department of Computer Science and Information Engineering, Department of Artificial Intelligence, Department of Statistics and Data Science, Department of Applied Mathematics and Data Science, Department of International Business, or Department of Business Administration at this university.
  2. Language Proficiency: Must provide proof of TOCFL Level A2 (Basic) or higher. Preference will be given to those with Level B1/B2 to C1/C2.
  3. Academic Performance: An overall academic average of 80 or above for the previous semester.
  4. Recommendation: Must be recommended by a course instructor or a department professor.

D. Internship Eligibility:

E. Application Details:

  1. Scholarship Application Period: October 1, 2026, to October 20, 2026
  2. Submission Process:
    • Detailed regulations are posted on the Student Affairs Information System (link is mentioned below).
    • Scholarship Applicants: Please submit your application form and supporting documents to the Guidance Section Office (Room B402) within the application period.
    • Internship Applicants: Interested students may apply directly to Cathay Life Insurance.
