为于学期中持续关心同学，特安排聘境外生导师适切地给予境外生建议与关怀，如询问学习状况、了解生活适应情形、关心人际互动情形、鼓励参与课外活动、提醒签证办理及假期注意事项以及转知重要讯息等。
As a part of our follow up during the school semester, we have expressly arranged an academic advisor for the foreign students. The academic advisor will be providing counselling and assistance in your daily lives such as: inquiring about your academic progress, how you are adapting to your new surroundings, whether you are able to socialize with others, encouraging you to participate in extra-curricular activities, and also reminding you of important visa information and other relevant information that you should be aware of during the holidays.
大一及前一学期学业平均未达60分的境外学位生，将会收到来自导师的问候与访谈邀约，请您不要觉得突兀，并请与导师多加联系。
First year foreign students and those who scored below the average of 60 in their previous semester will receive a notice from their advisor to set up an appointment. Don’t be alarmed, it is just an invitation so that we can understand your situation more clearly. If you have any questions, you are welcome to contact the advisor for assistance.
