Announcement of the Application for Overseas Chinese Students Financial Hardship Scholarship of the 108th Academic Year (1st semester)

Eligibility: Overseas Chinese students who have financial hardships only
                Must be responsible and have good conduct
 
Application period:
Current students: June 18, 2019 - July 5, 2019 at 5 p.m.
New students: September 3, 2019 - September 12, 2019 at 5 p.m.
 
Remarks: Please provide related documents if your parents teach at United Chinese School Committees Association of Malaysia, Chinese schools in Myanmar or Chinese schools in Korea, for it may be advantageous.
 
Application process: Fill out the application form and turn it in to International and Mainland Students Guidance Section before the deadline. Applicants need to type in required information in the office’s computer when handing in the application form.
 
Service period and hours: 6-8 hours/per week during September, 2019 - January, 2020 (or winter break)
Stipend: NTD150/per hour
*Once selected, student can do service for 60 hours (NTD 9,000). Those who perform well will get more service hours and will have to write down his/her experience of doing service and turn it in.
 
 
 
Admission notice:
  1. The scholarship is subsidized by Overseas Community Affairs Council. The admission notice will be sent via e-mail after the amount of subsidy and quota for 2019 are confirmed. (Current students are scheduled to receive an admission notice at the end of August while new students are scheduled to know the results at the end of September.)
B.  Students who possess skills such as art design and photography are welcome to apply.
C.  Council of Labor Affairs has issued regulations on working on/off campus. Regardless of work on campus or off campus, a working permit is required. Consult Ms. Iris Liang if you need more details regarding working permit.
